You may want to clear your calendar for the weekend of October 12, because the Fells Point Fun Fest is coming up fast. This annual festival, which was founded as a neighborhood fundraiser, will be celebrating its 52nd year, and is slated to be bigger and better than ever. This year, the festival will span six city blocks, offering free entertainment and activities that the whole family can enjoy in one of Baltimore’s most historic and dynamic locales. 

Nearly 20 bands are scheduled to appear on the event’s two main stages, headlined by the Gin Blossoms on Saturday evening. More than 100 vendors will line the streets, providing an array of options for food, drink, arts and crafts. Kid-friendly attractions on the schedule include hula hooping workshops, face painting, balloon artists, and plenty of games and demonstrations.
