The Baltimore Farmers’ Market & Bazaar has been around for more than 40 years, and when a community event has that kind of longevity, you know the organizers are doing something right. This year nearly three dozen different farms are participating, offering a variety of traditional market shopping, subscription CSA boxes, and home delivery. Whatever shopping method you choose, though, you can be sure you’ll get fresh, quality produce that’ll enhance any meal you put on the table. In addition to fresh produce, you’ll also find vendors selling prepared foods to go (baked goods, pickles, cheese, and more), as well snacks for immediate consumption (tacos, hot dogs, and empanadas, for example).
The bazaar is also home to dozens of craft vendors, selling everything from handmade jewelry, to pottery, stained glass, and photography. It’s easy to do your grocery shopping at the same time you pick up something unique to spruce up your decor.
