We all love warm, sunny days by the harbor, and there are so many ways to take advantage of this beautiful place we live. One of the best spots in town to get outside and explore? Canton Waterfront Park, the lush green space that separates Boston Street and the Harbor, which makes for pretty stellar views!
The park boasts easy access to a fishing pier and boat launch for marine lovers, as well as a network of trails for walking, running or biking, and plenty of green spots to set up a lovely picnic.
Another claim to fame for this park is the ode to Maryland history, the Korean War Memorial. The memorial is a circular structure adorned with the names of over 500 Maryland-natives who died during the conflict in the 1950s. It’s a beautifully moving commemoration of a hard time in our nation’s history that everyone should take a moment to admire when visiting.
